ACTIVITY OF BISHKEK HEAD OFFICE Foundation for Tolerance International
Bishkek head office was the first one to be opened among FTI’s five offices in 1999. Activity of Bishkek head office: - Teaching partners of Ferghana Valley network skills of conflict transformation.
- Providing grant support to regional initiatives aimed to consolidate regional cooperation of Ferghana valley network partners.
- Conducting regional forums/round tables in order to create opportunities for Ferghana valley NGOs network.
- Realizing of Consolidated Project aimed to unite efforts of Ferghana valley NGOs network in prevention of potential conflicts in Ferghana valley.
- Increasing capacity of elderly institutes in prevention of violent conflicts on communities’ level.
- Coordinating of inner interproject evaluation of FTI projects.
- Finding donors for potential projects under program component.
- Coordinating all FTI projects under components (plans, reports, full project cycle management.
- Support constant connection with partners and donors of FTI.
Implemented projects: - “Interaction of civil society, law-enforcement agencies and other state structures on realization of civil rights on peaceful and free meetings ”, donor: Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland.
- “Early warning for early reaction”, donor: OSCE and UNDP.
- Research project «Role of civil society of conflict prevention».
- “Strengthening of cultural dialogue and constructive cooperation between law-enforcement agencies and civil society for opening channels of effective communication under activity of prevention of violence in crisis situations”, donor: Democratic commission of USA Embassy in Kyrgyzstan.
- “Peace and Development Analysis” within partnership of President’s Administration and UNDP, donor: UNDP.
